RECOGNITION WITHIN THE SCHOOL

 - Certificates for participation and prizes for top honors;
 - Awards celebration with Ms. Trudel and members of the PTA;
 - Only the artwork will move on; travel is not required for the competitions.

 

PIERCE PTA CELEBRATION 

Pierce PTA will host a Pierce Reflections Recognition event for all students who submit an entry.

 

MATH PENTATHLON 

 

Parent Meeting

Please join us for a parent meeting to learn about the Math Pentathlon program. Sign up for the club will only take place at the parent meetings.

 

Meeting Dates: you only need to attend one

· Monday, September 29th, 6:30 pm in the Pierce Commons

· Friday, October 3rd, 9 am in the Pierce Commons

 

Kindergarten through 5th grades are invited to participate in Math Pentathlon.  We get together Wednesdays before school and play board games designed to enrich sportsmanship & critical thinking. Meetings will take place in the Pierce Media Center 

  • · K/1: December - April

    · 2/3: October - April

    · 4/5: October - May

Participants will have the opportunity to attend the national Math Pentathlon tournament held locally at the end of the season. Tournament participation is not required. However, if your child would like to participate in the tournament, parent participation is required. For more information please refer to the the Math Pentathlon website.
